Programs at ICEP USA 2008

Never knew that this trip would be SO MUCH FUN! As 2LTA Ong puts it, there have been some programs in San Antonio, Texas set up by our hosts which i did some research about it and find it FUN!

Here are so of what we can except there by our host:

We are going to the museum of the greatest 5-Star General, Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz of the WWII Pacific Fleet, here's the website: http://www.nimitz-museum.org/nimitzbio.htm. You can also find tons of info on the OVERALL attractions in the museum, just to name a few,Plaza of Presidents(showing the presidents who served in the army), Memorial Courtyard, Japanese Garden of Peace.

See the San Antonio's baseball team, the Missions. Here is their website: www.samissions.com/, and their schedule: http://sanantonio.missions.milb.com/schedule/index.jsp?sid=t510 (still can't figure out which day we are viewing their match).

Adventure park, Six Flags, at San Antonio. Here is their website: http://www.sixflags.com/overtexas/index.aspx. This park like Disney Land but more like got a different factor innit in the sense that it has alot of thrill rides! Note: i would nid to stock up on motion sickness pills...

Sea World San Antonio, more of like our underwater world. Their website: www.seaworld.com/sanantonio/ .

The Alamo historical walk, apparently some war happen there between the texasians and mexico people over, Texas. This place serve as some kind of fortress for the defendants( Texasians) and against the attackers( Mexicans). A 13 seige ensured. Their website for more information: www.thealamo.org/ and the wikipedia explanation of the war: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Alamo.

And the last, THE SAN ANTONIO RIVERWALK. This sort of like our duck tours, again for more information: http://www.thesanantonioriverwalk.com/.

So, this trip not all about the Summer Leadership School(SLS) and how can you become a better leader but is all but fun too! But one thing is, have we enuff time for all?
