Wao, my computer has been upgraded! Intially my mother send it to her colleague to giv it a check, guess wat happen, the whole processor was smoking off when her colleague switch on the comp. My mother therefore made the decision to have it upgraded, she was even that good to buy a new Kingston DDR2 SDRAM card,Samsung DVD/CD writer, Asus motherboard and a Intel Core 2 Duo processor( some tech use in laptops)! Was hoping she would be IT savvy enuff to get mi a Intel or AMD Quad Core processor, but after having tried the computer today when i bought it home, it seems excellent even wif a Core 2 Duo. The lagginess i used to experience ages ago was being replaced by smooth UI dat i'm experiencing rite now.
As for the RAM, it is already quite good liao lah, at 2GB, sure can take alot of stuff one lah, sumore it is a DDR2 SDRAM( this baby boosts ur RAM speed, so playing games would be damn smooth). Motherboard is the one that is giving me the headaches, since it is juz being 'introduced' last year, therfore the external drives that u are going to install innit should be therefore, new. My faithful(outdated) graphics card and audio card which have seen action wif mi since Ragnarok Online to Granado Espada, will have to retire. Now, i'm interested in World Of Warcraft. But since i'm a O'lvl student, that will have to w8 momentarily. Going to hunt for this two items and a added 160GB Sea Gate Hard Disk that i tink i would try persuading my mother later this year.
In all, it is quite good of my mother to do this for mi. Since i( and my father) have been complaining about the problems the old computer have, this is a good replacement that i and my father have been talking about( actually wanna buy new computer at end of this yr one). So, now can save the money from buying a new comp to 'upgrading' my comp instead. As for WoW, that wan EOY that talk, cannot diverd my attention from lovely books....
P.S O yah, as for the 2nd part of my adventures in San Antonio USA, will have to w8, too tired liao...
