Good to know that Mike Portney doing a great job on drums, and not the usual bullshit he plays for his drum 'solos'(my opinion).
AND, Johnny Christ finally stood up in his role as bassist for A7X. Bass lines in 'Nightmare' kinda reminds me of Cliff Burton's bass style in Metallica, and that of Billy Sheehan as well.
Lead, melodic bass, whilst keeping the tempo and rhythmic structure of the music intact. Nice one!
Shall wait for the entire album to appear before any kudos, but for now, this song is THE BOMB :D
ATTENTION: Look at how Gates hold his pick for the sweeping section of the solo, AND HE's using a sustainer unit in place of the Bridge pickup. Effing AJ refusing to accept the fact that Gates uses a sustainer unit, calling me stupid as well. That retard.....
