School

Today was a fiasco....

Reached school like 6.40am to complete my GP, but found out that we have PW talk instead. Got this guy, a librarian from NLB teaching us on conducting Quality Checks on prospectives websites for research proposes. Fun and informative in my opinion, he also cited example whereby a survey was done on 35 students to see if they actually believe a thing called the "Amazon tree octopus" which is shown on one website.

Funny thing is 34 out of the 35 local students surveyed by Strait Times actually believe that such a thing exists, which shows us how deceptive the web could be or as he puts it "Wild, Wild, Web".

Maths was next, totally dun catch a ball about sampling methods, but did some practice here and there, and the whole thing looks clearer than before. Guess this is wat they call "Accelerated understanding", personally hope that it can stay on in me... FOREVER :D

Lit was by far, the best out of the tutorials/lectures i had today! Managed to understand whatever Mr Nair is talking about themes used to interpret or represent a story or novel. Bla, bla, bla. Had some jokes here and there, including Mr Nair questioning me "Adrian, why are u smiling hysterically at me?" Gosh! I'm straight for ur information! I smile or laugh whatever cuz there was this joker from my chinese calss whom i forgot the name, blatantly falling asleep in from of u.

TAKE DAT NAIR! POOR EYESIGHT U GOT!

Econs was as interesting as usual, today was the release of results for the mini-test they had last week. Poor me, the lowest was 3/10, i got 0/10. Wats even WORSE is that i be missing the next test on case study conducted on this Wednesday! Talking about coming at the wrong time............... Wat is even mysterious is that i' able to correctly identify relevant points to be included in my essay, but as always, I CAN'T WRITE!

Seriously, i tink i be moving at a ungodly pace once my course ends. All those work to cover, and not a single one done yet, except for my GP compre. There's still 3 newspaper article reviews, 2 Lit assignments, and some irritaing form of Econs Essay which i have not handed in yet. DAMNIT! ALL HANDED IN BY TOMORROW, AND THE HELL M I SITTING HERE BLOGGING ABOUT IT!

Shit happens, take it as it comes -> Procrastination gets u to nowhere, especially in a Junior College!

P.S I still can't freaking explain why m i so vulgar all of a sudden! On a sidenote, saw a quarter of Syndicate 2 today while i was taking 969 to school, and feels weird not to be in my No.4. Oh my, 57th CADET OFFICERS COURSE!
